In Sanskrit, Kula means "community of the heart". This is the inspiration behind Kula Catering. More than a macrobiotic and vegan catering company, Kula is committed to nurturing and supporting the community. It is therefore Kula's intention to use all local and organic ingredients whenever possible, as well as to offer classes and workshops that focus on how to truly care for your body.
Kula's mission is to nurture and support the community. Kula carries out this mission using the practice and promotion of macrobiotics, by providing delicious, all-natural food with personalized service, and through education, respect and compassion.

A note from Alisha:I would like to thank you personally for your time in exploring what Kula has to offer. I believe firmly that a healthy curiosity is a crucial aspect of a fulfilling life. In my personal journey I have immersed myself in music, acting, yoga and now cooking. It is in this new discipline that I am discovering all over again the beauty of simplicity, of the basic needs we all share of food, health and balance. This has not always been an easy harmony for me to achieve, but in my quest I have also discovered that the means are as important, if not more so, than the ends, and that serenity cannot be attained without the ballast of disappointment, struggle, and failure.
Through Kula, it is my sincere hope and intention that with the sharing of my experience and my self I may help others create a greater understanding of food and to trust in its ability to heal and protect.
